Bukit Bintang: Iris Garden Hotel

It is very difficult to find a hotel which can accommodate 5 people in one room because the maximum will be 4 persons per room. I was quite headache in finding hotel.

The location for Iris Garden Hotel is very strategic because it is very near with Bukit Bintang Monorail and shopping mall. This hotel had built in the year of 2011.

The times I went there, the hotel was having promotion which offer RM 190/night for Family Deluxe Room (Normal price RM 220).  The room rate is not including 6% of Goods and Services tax (GST). When check in, need to pay RM 50 as deposit and remember to keep your receipt properly in order to claim back during check out. During check in, beside room card, receptionist will give you TV and air-conditioner remote control and you need to return upon check out.

The reason I chose for Iris Garden Hotel because it allows 5 people in one room without extra bed. The beds in Family Deluxe room is king size which 3 peoples can sleep on a bed because king size bed is big.

Inside room has TV, table, chairs, small refrigerator and wardrobe. It has a mirror which can see whole body.

I like the washroom because it is so big. I think five of us go into washroom also feel spacious. Hotel did provide normal toiletries such as shampoo, shower cap and soap. You can choose hot or cold water during shower.

The WiFi in room is good and our room is very near with WiFi modem. The selection of TV programme is limited because it only has TV 1 and TV2 but I also cannot complaint a lot because this is one star hotel.

In the room did not provide hair dryer. For those who need it, you need go to receptionist counter for a requests and pay for RM 30 as deposit. This was my first time heard that borrow hair dryer also need to give deposit. I think this hotel maybe having many cases that the customer did not return it.

From my room’s window can see the view of Bukit Bintang. My dad likes the room with window so he can see the building, people and many more.

The receptionist is very friendly so if you have any questions can ask her. She had told me the direction to Bukit Bintang Bus Station to take Go KL City Bus when I asked her.

For room cleaning, you need to inform receptionist and pass the room card to he/she. If not, they will not clean the room for you.

At the last day morning, I found a cockroach in the washroom. I think the hygiene standard in this hotel needs to improve.
