Manila Trip 2015: Manila Ocean Park

Manila Ocean Park is an oceanarium in Manila, Philippines. It is located behind Quirino Grandstand at Rizal Park. It opened on March 1, 2008 – Wikipedia

Inside Manila Ocean Park has a H2O Hotel for your stay. It is very nice because it has aquarium themed rooms which you can sleep with those fishes.

Birthday Bash Promo (Promo validity: 15 September 2015 – 31 December 2015)

In Manila Ocean Park, it has promo for those birthday celebrant throughout his/her Birthday month such as January 5 can be availed from January 1 to 31, one time entry which he/she did not need to pay for entrance fee. The terms and condition is celebrant must be accompanied by minimum 3 paying guests. The promo is applicable to Sea Breeze express (750 peso per pax) and Marine Voyage (990 peso per pax).

In five of us, the birthday of my friend’s mother fall on October so she did not need to pay for entrance fee. When in ticket counter, she needed to show her passport to the staff for photocopy as a proof.

Beside free of entrance fee, birthday celebrant can get a drink for free. He/she just need to present ticket/waistband to claim 1 Let’s Be drink (choice of Café Au Lait or Choco Latte) at Bites & Chills located near with ticket counter. This offer starts from 1 October to 31 October 2015.

We had purchased Marine Voyage package which cost me 990 peso. Inside of this package included Oceanarium, Fish Spa, Back of the House, Trails to Antarctica(Penguin Exhibit & Snow Village), Jellies Exhibit, Penguin Talk Show, Birdsof Prey Kingdom, Sharks and Rays (Dry Encounter), Sea Lion Show, All Star Bird Show, Symphony Evening Show and gift items redemption.

From the package, we had tried all of it except Back of House, Penguin Talk Show and Symphony Evening Show (6:30pm). I will blog all the activities in my next blog post.

After paid for ticket, we will get a wristband and need to wear it in Manila Ocean Park. In every activity, the staff will scan and mark on the wristband.

Inside of Manila Ocean Park has Yexel’s Museum which need to pay for entrance fee (not include in package).

In Manila Ocean Park, you can enjoy free WiFi but I don’t think you will have time to online because lots of activities are waiting for you.

Inside of it has lots of stalls to sell clothes, souvenirs and many more. You can spend some time in shopping too.

For those who buy for Marine Voyage package can redeem for a gift at a small shop near with ticket booth. It has magnet, pen and keychain for choose. I choose for penguin key-chain.
